Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient storage practices.
Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and condition monitoring to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
ERP Utilization: Use ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) to track inventory movements, update records, and generate necessary reports.
Traceability Controls: Implement traceability controls for items based on serial numbers (S/N), lots, and batches to facilitate accurate tracking and retrieval.
Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders to avoid stockouts while minimizing carrying costs.
Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization and accessibility.
Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Shipment Handling: Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents against documentation and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in all warehouse operations.
Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management processes and procedures.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
Skills: Strong understanding of stock checking methodologies, condition monitoring, and reporting.
ERP Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
Traceability Knowledge: Knowledge of traceability concepts including serial numbers (S/N), lot, and batch tracking.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
Communication: Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
