Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Telecom Engineer to design, implement, and maintain telecommunications systems for our client. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our client's telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and wireless networks

Conduct site surveys and prepare technical designs for new installations or upgrades

Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, and fiber optic systems

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in telecommunications networks

Perform regular system updates and security patches to ensure network integrity

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate telecommunications systems with other IT infrastructure

Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and processes

Monitor network performance and capacity, making recommendations for improvements

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in telecommunications

Ensure compliance with local telecommunications regulations and standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, preferably in the UAE or Middle East region

Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, protocols, and standards (e.g., VoIP, MPLS, 4G/5G, fiber optics)

Proficiency in network design and implementation tools

Familiarity with telecommunications regulations in the UAE

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus

Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable
