Job Description:

Quest Search & Selection is seeking a highly experienced Director of Global Procurement to lead the procurement and supply chain functions for a prominent client in the digital photography industry. This pivotal role will drive the company's international sourcing strategy, supporting its ambitious growth plans over the next five years.

About the Role:

As the Director of Global Procurement, you will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the leadership team. You will be responsible for overseeing procurement and supply chain management across a diverse range of products and services, including capital assets, IT supplies, consumables, and technology-related software.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Sourcing Strategies:

Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to optimize costs, improve warehousing, and enhance supply chain efficiency.

Lead and manage a global team responsible for sourcing products from the GCC, China, and the Far East.

Procurement Oversight:

Oversee procurement activities for various categories including curated merchandise, printing services, photo and video equipment, IT consumables, cloud services, software applications, business/employee medical insurance, and staff accommodation & transportation.

Ensure that procurement activities align with international standards, company policies, and quality and sustainability requirements.

Supplier Management:

Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and sustainability practices.

Analyze market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and develop risk management strategies.

Continuous Improvement:

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the procurement team.

Drive cost reduction initiatives and strategic sourcing plans.

Compliance and Collaboration:

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals and drive innovation.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in managing a global team of 25+ procurement specialists.

Extensive global sourcing experience, particularly from the GCC, China, and the Far East.

Skills:

Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

Salary:

AED 30,000 to 35,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).
