Job Description / Role

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that all industrial cleaning, sandblasting, plate stripping, wax masking, electroplating, metal oxidation, and gun bluing is accomplished in accordance with all technical manuals, KPIs, and OEM specifications.

Assist in the development of job plans related to industrial cleaning, sandblasting, plate stripping, wax masking, electroplating, metal oxidation, and gun bluing.

Perform quality maintenance actions as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.

Ensure strict compliance with storage and disposal guidelines for all hazardous materials in accordance with environmental directives and company rules and regulations.

Perform cyclic inspections and maintenance of all holding tanks and their associated accessories, including the submission of facility-related service requests.

Mix and test all coating solutions, replenishing holding tanks as required.

Determine coating requirements and conformance using precision measuring instruments.

Prepare items for electroplating by placing them in cleaning and conductive solutions.

Determine the amount of electrical current required and the time needed to accomplish electroplating.

Position items to be electroplated in a frame or suspend them from the power supply terminals.

Rinse all coated items in cleansing solutions and dry with a cloth or centrifugal drier.

Use precision measuring instruments to ensure coating thickness meets OEM specifications.

Ensure all precision measurement instruments are maintained and calibrated according to manufacturer’s data.

Complete maintenance-related documentation, including tasks accomplished, direct labor hours consumed, vehicle-specific information, spare part request forms, etc.

Ensure all issued tools, uniforms, and PPE are accounted for, maintained, and secured.

Desired Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of two years of experience in electroplating, metal oxidation, and/or gun bluing.

Previous military experience or formal chemistry and/or electroplating training is advantageous.

Ability to interpret complex blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics is preferred.

Experience with special tools, precision measuring instruments, and electroplating equipment is an advantage.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and SAP is preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Possess or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s and forklift license.
