About the Position

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with expertise in network security to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with technical knowledge in networking and cybersecurity to successfully deliver security infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage network security implementation projects from initiation to completion

Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet security requirements

Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices

Create and maintain project documentation

Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers

Manage project budgets and resources effectively

Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to leadership

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices

Basic understanding of networking concepts including:

Firewalls

VPNs

Routing and switching

Network architecture

Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including:

Threat vectors

Security best practices

Risk assessment

Security protocols

Technical Skills

Proficiency in project management tools and software

Knowledge of network security tools and technologies

Understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture

Familiarity with security compliance requirements

Basic scripting and automation knowledge (preferred)

Professional Skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Risk management and mitigation expertise

Stakeholder management experience

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities

Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)

Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, etc.)

Experience with Agile methodologies

Knowledge of cloud security concepts

Previous experience in IT security projects
