Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Tax Consultant to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax advisory, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide valuable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive tax advisory services to clients across various industries

- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and businesses

- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations

- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions

- Assist in resolving tax disputes and represent clients in dealings with tax authorities

- Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated financial and tax advice

- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders

- Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to proposal preparations

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the tax practice

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

- Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA, EA) or accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations and international tax principles

- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite, especially Excel

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- Exceptional communication skills in English (written and verbal)

- Ability to explain complex tax concepts in simple terms to clients

- Experience with VAT implementation and compliance in the UAE is highly desirable
