Job Description
Magnet Forensics is looking for a proactive Talent Sourcer to help build the talent pipelines that power its continued growth. As a global leader in digital investigative software that helps investigators fight crime, protect assets, and guard national security, Magnet Forensics offers a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys uncovering talent, analysing talent markets, and building strong relationships that drive hiring success. This is a hybrid-flexible opportunity for a talent research and sourcing expert ready to partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders across a variety of functions.
In this role, you will conduct talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence to identify top talent, and build and nurture high-quality talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. You will partner with Talent Acquisition Partners to source, assess, and introduce qualified candidates into hiring pipelines, and develop thoughtful outreach strategies that generate high response rates and create an outstanding first impression of the company. You will deliver market intelligence, including compensation trends, competitor hiring activity, talent availability, and broader hiring insights, and partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers as a trusted talent research and sourcing expert. Creating a positive, responsive, and engaging candidate experience throughout the sourcing and outreach process, and evaluating and leveraging emerging sourcing technologies, AI tools, and market intelligence platforms to enhance talent identification, candidate engagement, and pipeline-building efforts will round out your day-to-day work.
The ideal candidate brings experience sourcing talent across multiple functions using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools, along with a strong interest in talent market innovation, including the use of AI, automation, and data-driven sourcing approaches. You have a proven ability to build proactive talent pipelines and engage passive candidates across various departments, strong research, talent mapping, and market intelligence capabilities, and excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft personalised outreach. Strong relationship-building skills, a collaborative approach to partnering with recruiters and hiring managers, a data-driven mindset with curiosity about talent markets and hiring trends, and a genuine passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience are all essential. Candidates need not check every box listed above — Magnet Forensics places more weight on demonstrated indicators of success than on ticking every requirement, and encourages applicants who don't meet all qualifications to apply anyway.
Magnet Forensics takes a hybrid-flexible approach to work, with occasional in-person time at one of its offices depending on team needs, typically ranging from weekly to monthly. The company offers generous time off policies, competitive compensation, volunteer opportunities, reward and recognition programmes, employee committees and resource groups, and healthcare and retirement benefits. All offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory completion of a background check.
Salary:
CAD 80,000 to 100,000 per year (total target compensation for the primary posting location; may vary by location and experience)
