Talent Acquisition Officer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to join our Oil & Gas organization in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, implementing strategic talent acquisition initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Qatarization goals.

Required Qualifications

MBA in Human Resources or equivalent from a recognized university

Up to 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in Oil & Gas sector

Proven experience with SAP HR modules

Professional HR or Recruitment certifications (preferred)

Strong understanding of Qatar labor laws and Qatarization requirements

Primary Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies

Source candidates through multiple channels including databases, professional networks, and referrals

Conduct initial candidate screenings and assessments

Coordinate and facilitate competency-based interviews

Manage technical assessment processes

Lead recruitment campaigns and hiring events

Process Management

Maintain accurate recruitment data and documentation in SAP

Generate regular recruitment metrics and analytics reports

Monitor recruitment KPIs and timeline adherence

Ensure compliance with company policies and Qatar labor laws

Support Qatarization initiatives and reporting requirements

Stakeholder Management

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements

Provide guidance on recruitment best practices

Coordinate with HR teams for smooth onboarding processes

Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and vendors

Collaborate with internal departments for recruitment logistics

Strategic Input

Monitor industry recruitment trends and salary benchmarks

Recommend improvements to recruitment processes

Develop innovative sourcing strategies

Contribute to employer branding initiatives

Support recruitment budget management

Technical Skills

Proficient in SAP HR modules (mandatory)
