Role Overview – ATS Aviation is hiring a Supply Chain Officer for a full-time, on-site role. This position is ideal for motivated, talented supply chain professionals with strong analytical skills, procurement expertise, and a passion for optimizing supply chain operations within the aviation industry. Procurement and Vendor Management – You will manage procurement activities by sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and ensuring timely delivery of materials, parts, and services that meet quality standards and support operational requirements.

Inventory Management and Control – You will oversee inventory management by monitoring stock levels, coordinating replenishment, conducting regular inventory audits, minimizing excess and obsolete stock, and ensuring optimal inventory turnover to support operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Supply Chain Coordination – You will coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities by liaising with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure seamless flow of goods, timely deliveries, and alignment with operational schedules and demand forecasts.

Demand Planning and Forecasting – You will support demand planning and forecasting by analyzing consumption patterns, collaborating with operations and maintenance teams, anticipating material requirements, and ensuring adequate stock availability to prevent operational disruptions.

Logistics and Shipping Coordination – You will manage logistics and shipping by coordinating freight arrangements, tracking shipments, managing customs documentation for international deliveries, and ensuring compliance with aviation and import/export regulations.

Supplier Relationship Management – You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers by communicating requirements clearly, resolving issues promptly, conducting performance reviews, and fostering partnerships that support quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.

Compliance and Documentation – You will ensure compliance with aviation industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies by maintaining accurate procurement and inventory records, managing certificates of conformity, and supporting audits and inspections.

Cost Control and Budget Management – You will support cost control initiatives by analyzing spending, identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating favorable pricing, and ensuring procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and financial targets.

ERP and Supply Chain Systems – You will use ERP and supply chain management systems to track orders, manage inventory data, generate reports, and maintain visibility across all supply chain functions, ensuring data accuracy and informed decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, finance, and quality assurance teams by providing supply chain insights, coordinating material requirements, and ensuring alignment between supply chain activities and organizational objectives.

Supply Chain Experience – Proven experience in a supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management role is required. Your background should demonstrate hands-on knowledge of supply chain operations, vendor management, and inventory control.

Aviation Industry Experience (Preferred) – Experience in the aviation, aerospace, or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) sector is highly preferred. Familiarity with aviation parts, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific supply chain practices will significantly strengthen your candidacy.

Procurement and Negotiation Skills – Strong procurement and negotiation skills are essential. You should be capable of sourcing suppliers, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and securing favorable terms that support quality and cost objectives.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities – Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, identifying supply chain bottlenecks, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
