Role Overview – Al Riyadh Charter School is hiring a Student Supervisor for a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for dedicated professionals with strong pastoral care capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to supervise students effectively, maintain a safe learning environment, enforce school policies, and support student wellbeing within a rigorous charter school setting.

Student Supervision and Safety – You will provide active supervision of students during designated times including breaks, lunch periods, transitions, and after-school activities to ensure their safety and wellbeing. You will patrol assigned areas systematically, maintain visible presence, and respond immediately to any safety concerns or behavioral issues that require intervention.

Behavioral Management and Discipline – You will address student misconduct professionally and consistently by applying school discipline policies fairly to all students regardless of background. You will document behavioral incidents accurately, implement appropriate consequences aligned with school procedures, and work toward positive behavioral change through constructive feedback.

Conflict Resolution – You will mediate disputes between students, help them develop conflict resolution skills, and facilitate understanding between conflicting parties. You will de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally, ensuring that resolutions promote learning and personal growth.

Student Wellbeing and Pastoral Care – You will check on student emotional and physical wellbeing, identify students who appear distressed or unwell, and provide appropriate support or referrals. You will create a caring and inclusive environment where students feel valued, heard, and supported in their personal development.

Communication with Parents and Teachers – You will maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child's behavior and progress, reporting both positive achievements and areas of concern. You will collaborate with classroom teachers to reinforce consistent behavioral expectations and share observations that inform instructional strategies.

Emergency Response and First Aid – You will respond promptly to student emergencies including injuries, illness, or behavioral crises by providing immediate assistance and contacting appropriate personnel. You will maintain basic first aid knowledge, document incidents thoroughly, and follow evacuation and emergency procedures with students.

School Policy Enforcement – You will ensure students adhere to all school policies including uniform requirements, electronic device usage, attendance expectations, and conduct standards. You will explain policies clearly to students, model appropriate behavior, and enforce rules consistently while maintaining student dignity.
