Job Title:  Structural Engineer Experienced in Tensile Structure

Job Descriptions:

We are looking for a Structural Engineer with expertise in designing and analyzing tensile structures. The candidate should have a solid understanding of structural mechanics and experience in modeling and analyzing complex fabric structures.

Responsibilities:

Design and analyze tensile structures including fabric roofs, canopies, tents, and membrane structures.

Conduct structural calculations and simulations using relevant software tools to ensure structural integrity and stability.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop design concepts and solutions.

Evaluate site conditions and constraints to optimize structural design and performance.

Perform structural assessments and inspections of existing tensile structures, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.

Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards related to tensile structure design and engineering.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.

Participate in project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in all design and construction activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on tensile structures.

Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar.

Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to structural design.

Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
