Job Description
As a Stores Controller at STS Group, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing material movement and inventory control within the SDET (STS Group) stores. Your role will involve providing logistics support, ensuring efficient handling of materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will play a crucial role in supporting the security and surveillance systems operations by managing material resources effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Material Management:
Handle and oversee material movement from SDET stores, ensuring accurate and timely processing of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure availability and efficient use of materials.
Logistics Support:
Provide logistics support to SDET by coordinating the movement of materials and managing inventory processes.
Ensure that material handling and storage practices comply with company standards and procedures.
Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movements using Microsoft Dynamics application.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
Supplier and Vendor Relations:
Develop and maintain professional and trusted relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
Coordinate with external parties to facilitate material procurement and resolve any issues related to supplies.
Technology and Systems Management:
Apply knowledge of security system technologies, including CCTV, IP video, Intelligent Video, and video storage, to manage related materials and inventory.
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics application for inventory management and reporting.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to material management and logistics.
Prepare and submit reports on inventory status, material usage, and any relevant metrics.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education: Degree/Diploma in Science or Engineering, preferably in Electrical & Electronics.
Skills:
Knowledge of security system technologies, including CCTV, IP video, Intelligent Video, and general security system principles and practices.
Strong understanding of material management processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics application for inventory management.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics and material handling, specifically within the security and surveillance systems sector.
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics application.
Familiarity with Middle East security systems is highly desirable.
