Role Overview:

Repair Plus LLC is seeking an organized and reliable Storekeeper to manage inventory, maintain stock records, and coordinate the receiving, storage, and issuing of materials and supplies. The successful candidate will help ensure accurate stock control, proper storage practices, and timely availability of materials to support daily business operations.

Inventory and Stock Management:

• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Issue materials and supplies to authorized departments as required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies to management.

Receiving and Storage:

• Organize and store materials in designated locations.
• Ensure all received items are properly labelled and recorded.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area.
• Check the condition of materials and report damaged or missing items.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain stock registers, inventory logs, and goods receipt records.
• Prepare inventory reports and update stock movement records.
• Assist with documentation for purchases, returns, and material transfers.
• Ensure accurate filing of delivery notes and related store documents.

Coordination and Stock Control:

• Coordinate with procurement and other departments regarding material requirements.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
• Follow established procedures for stock issuing and returns.
• Support periodic inventory audits and implement recommendations to improve stock accuracy.

Requirements Essential Skills:

• Understanding of inventory management and storekeeping procedures.
• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of stock reconciliation and goods receiving procedures.
• Experience handling tools, spare parts, or maintenance materials is an advantage.
