Job Description

Job Summary: As a Storekeeper at Lumber World LLC, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day inventory activities, ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and dispatched according to internal protocols. Your efficiency and attention to detail will directly support our operational success and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will oversee the complete inventory management process for building materials such as timber, hardware, and ironmongeries. Duties include receiving incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining accurate stock records. You will also be expected to issue materials as per requisition orders and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.

Inventory Control and Reporting: Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation is a vital aspect of this job. You will generate reports using Microsoft Excel and SAP B1, analyzing stock levels, usage patterns, and highlighting any discrepancies for resolution. This ensures that the warehouse remains compliant and efficient in operations.

Operational Excellence: You will ensure all warehouse processes align with company standards and warehousing compliance requirements. This includes enforcing safety protocols, cleanliness, and organizing items for easy accessibility. Your role is crucial in minimizing waste and maximizing space utilization in the storage facility.

Technology & Systems Use: The role requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to manage documentation, reporting, and data entry. Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP B1, is highly beneficial and will be a key advantage in executing your responsibilities efficiently.

Team Coordination & Communication: As a Storekeeper, you will collaborate with procurement, logistics, and site teams to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to coordinate effectively across departments and with external suppliers or transport partners.
