Store Manager

Job Description

Role Overview – International Grand Mart Supermarket LLC is hiring a Store Manager for a full-time, on-site role. This position is ideal for experienced retail leaders with a minimum of 5 years as a Branch Manager or Store Manager in the supermarket industry who can oversee store operations, drive sales growth, manage teams, and ensure exceptional customer service within a fast-paced retail environment.

Store Operations Management – You will oversee all aspects of store operations by managing daily activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining store standards, coordinating front-end and back-end functions, and delivering a seamless shopping experience that meets customer expectations and company policies.

Team Leadership and Staff Management – You will lead, motivate, and develop the store team by recruiting, training, and managing staff, setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring all team members are aligned with International Grand Mart's service and operational standards.

Sales and Revenue Management – You will drive sales and revenue growth by monitoring sales performance, implementing promotional strategies, analyzing sales data, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, and ensuring the store meets or exceeds monthly and annual sales targets.

Customer Service Excellence – You will ensure exceptional customer service by monitoring customer interactions, addressing complaints and concerns professionally, implementing service improvements, and maintaining a customer-first culture that builds loyalty and satisfaction.

Inventory and Stock Management – You will manage inventory and stock control by overseeing stock replenishment, coordinating with suppliers and warehouse teams, monitoring stock levels, minimizing shrinkage and wastage, and ensuring optimal product availability across all categories.

Visual Merchandising and Store Standards – You will maintain visual merchandising and store standards by ensuring proper product placement, store cleanliness, signage, and promotional displays, and by creating an attractive, organized shopping environment that enhances the customer experience.

P&L and Financial Performance – You will manage the store's P&L and financial performance by controlling operational costs, monitoring expenses, analyzing margins, and implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining quality and service standards to maximize profitability.

Compliance and Safety – You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards by implementing company policies, conducting regular inspections, maintaining adherence to Dubai Municipality and food safety regulations, and ensuring the store operates safely and legally at all times.

Vendor and Supplier Coordination – You will coordinate with vendors and suppliers by managing deliveries, resolving supply issues, negotiating terms when appropriate, and maintaining strong relationships that support smooth operations and competitive pricing.
