About the Role:

A Store Manager at Lenskart is a crucial link between strategy and execution. This role involves driving the store to achieve metrics such as sales, conversions, and customer satisfaction, maintaining high morale among store staff, developing team members, controlling attrition, and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Focus:

   - Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS).

   - Greet customers and coach the team to do the same.

   - Ensure exceptional customer service and prioritize customer satisfaction.

   - Handle customer service issues and ensure consistent team performance.

   - Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers.

2. Driving Sales vs. Plan:

   - Meet store sales targets by allocating targets to staff.

   - Foster a culture of high sales performance.

   - Motivate and inspire the team to achieve results.

   - Assess field capability and establish performance priorities.

3. People Development:

   - Assist in recruiting and selecting high-potential staff.

   - Provide on-the-job training and guidance using company training modules.

   - Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback to retail associates.

   - Evaluate training needs and work with the L&D department on developmental plans.

   - Understand reasons for attrition and implement control measures.

4. Cash & Inventory Management:

   - Monitor cash reconciliation to prevent fund mismatches.

   - Ensure the availability of required merchandise and services.

   - Conduct regular stocktakes.

   - Ensure staff understand the POS system for effective transactions.

   - Perform quality checks on new products.

   - Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent customer experience.

5. Supervision:

   - Address issues of all store employees, including the Optometrist.

   - Ensure eye check-ups adhere to SOPs and maintain high standards.

6. **SOP Adherence & Implementation:**

   - Implement and adhere to all retail SOPs.

   - Update colleagues on business performance and new initiatives.

   - Schedule team shifts to meet store business needs.

   - Ensure adequate staffing levels for effective store operations.

7. Store Upkeep & Maintenance:

   - Maintain the store according to Lenskart standards.

   - Regularly clean frames and equipment.

   - Ensure security of all equipment and manage stock effectively.

Job Requirements:
