About the Role:

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) is seeking a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This clinical position specializes in assessing and treating communication disorders across pediatric and adult populations in our advanced healthcare facility.

Clinical Responsibilities:

The Speech Pathologist will conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will develop individualized treatment plans and provide evidence-based interventions to improve patients' communication abilities and swallowing function.

Language Proficiency:

While English fluency is required, Arabic-speaking candidates will be given preference to better serve our diverse patient population. Your bilingual capabilities will enhance therapeutic outcomes for Arabic-speaking patients and families.

Candidate Requirements:

Applicants must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess current UAE licensure (DHA/HAAD/MOH). Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in medical settings with demonstrated expertise in dysphagia management is preferred.

Specialized Skills:

The position requires proficiency in instrumental swallowing assessments (VFSS/FEES), aphasia therapy, and pediatric language interventions. Experience with AAC devices and neurogenic communication disorders will be considered valuable assets.
