Job Description

DM Healthcare is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery to join its esteemed team in the IBRI Region of Oman. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ACL reconstruction, joint replacement, and trauma care, contributing to the continued excellence in patient care at Aster DM Healthcare.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Orthopedic Surgery:

Perform advanced orthopedic surgeries, including ACL reconstruction, joint replacement, and other trauma-related procedures.

Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.

Patient Management:

Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on improving patient outcomes.

Develop individualized treatment plans, including non-surgical and surgical options.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide multidisciplinary care.

Participate in case discussions, consultations, and surgical planning with the medical team.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure adherence to medical protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.

Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in orthopedic surgery and apply best practices.

Education & Training:

Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to the continuous professional development of the team.

Participate in training sessions and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge in orthopedic care.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families about the nature of their conditions and treatment options.

Provide guidance on rehabilitation and post-surgical care to ensure optimal recovery.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients.

Prepare reports on surgical outcomes, patient progress, and other relevant medical documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

MBBS (Medicine) and Doctor of Surgery (MS) in Orthopedic Surgery.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in ACL reconstruction, joint replacement, and trauma care.

Skills:

Proficiency in advanced orthopedic surgical techniques.

Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Excellent communication and patient management skills.

Certifications:

Relevant medical licenses and certifications to practice in Oman.

Nationality:

Open to candidates from India, Iraq, Syria, and other nationalities.
