Job Description: Solution Architect - Pre-Sales

Position Overview:

Important Project Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect - Pre-Sales to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and architectural expertise, with the ability to lead solution design and support the sales team. This role requires deep technical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to understand and address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Solutioning & Pre-Sales:

Architectural Leadership: Provide technical and architectural leadership in proposing, creating, and improving solution designs, ensuring alignment with customer needs and project goals.

Product Knowledge: Support the sales team with in-depth product knowledge, helping to articulate the value proposition of proposed solutions.

Technical Proposals: Prepare technical proposals in response to customer RFPs and RFIs, ensuring they meet solution pricing, BID, and tender requirements.

Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops with customers to gather reports requirements, customize solutions, and oversee the development and implementation phases.

Skill Development: Continuously upgrade skills through self-learning and on-the-job training, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies.

Documentation: Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and preparation of technical documentation such as scope of work, use-case diagrams, call flows, and UML diagrams.

Project Collaboration: Collaborate with the project management team to provide inputs for the Project Management Plan, ensuring seamless project execution.

Customer Demos:

Customer Interaction: Conduct effective communication, customer meetings, agent/supervisor training sessions, and pre-sales demos to showcase the value of proposed solutions.

Demo Preparation: Prepare customer-specific demos with in-depth technical knowledge, ensuring alignment with the customer's business and technical requirements.

Solution Presentation: Present ideas and recommendations on how customers can improve their customer journeys through our solutions, demonstrating clear ROI and business value.

Documentation: Create or provide detailed documentation, such as Discovery, Architecture & Solution Design Proposals, to ensure a smooth transition to professional services.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

Conversational AI: Strong technical domain knowledge and expertise in Conversational Artificial Intelligence features, with the ability to architect and integrate solutions smoothly in cloud and hybrid operating models.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP, along with cloud application architecture including Microservices, Kubernetes, and Docker.

ROI Calculation: Proven experience in defining the return on investment (ROI) in proposals, ensuring solutions are well-aligned with business requirements.

High-Level Design: Ability to scope functional and non-functional specifications, high-level designs, and sizing for proposed solutions.

Implementation Strategy: Ability to prescribe the optimal implementation order to minimize impact and maximize benefits for customers.

Presentation Skills: Exceptional presentation skills with the presence and gravitas to command workshops and drive successful conclusions.

Educational Qualifications:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.

Certifications: TOGAF and ITIL Certification or relevant cloud/engage training.

Language Skills:

English: Excellent communication skills in English are essential.

Arabic: Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
