Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and develop Authorization, Clearing and Settlement Systems, Merchant Onboarding, Payout applications, and Cardholder (Issuing) Processing.

Understand and work with card payments, including issuers, acquirers, card schemes, interchange, and cardholder authentication.

Utilize knowledge of payment switching, routing, cryptography, PIN operations, and both contact and contactless protocols.

Stay updated on emerging payment technologies such as Open Banking, new payment rails, digital payments, new payment channels (e.g., wallets, smart POS, ATMs), real-time cross-border payments, blockchain-enabled crypto payments, central bank digital currencies, data in payments, and financial crime developments.

Leverage knowledge of Fintech niches within the payments value chain.

Create and maintain technical modeling and documentation, including Data Flow Diagrams, Network Diagrams, and Software Architecture Documents.

Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and/or other relevant payment security protocols.

Communicate solutions and potential challenges effectively at both conceptual and technical levels in English, and preferably in Arabic.

Industry certifications such as CISSP, Open CA, TOGAF, Cloud Certification, etc., are preferred.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in cards, merchant, and wallet payment solutions.

Proficiency in building solutions with microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native principles.

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.

Strong technical modeling and documentation skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English, and preferably in Arabic.

Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
