Job Description: Site Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview:

Janikin Energy is seeking a highly experienced Site Mechanical Engineer to oversee construction activities related to solar projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will manage teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinate closely with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Oversight: Oversee construction activities including Ramming/Piling, Trackers, Modules, and Cleaning Robots.

Team Management: Manage a team of Assistant Construction Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, in-house workmen, and subcontractors.

Scheduling & KPIs: Maintain schedules, KPIs, productivity norms, and other key performance metrics.

HSE Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

QA/QC Compliance: Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements.

Cost Management: Responsible for rate analysis, costing, cost control, and materials reconciliation.

Resource Mobilization: Mobilize resources based on project requirements.

Project Coordination: Maintain close coordination with the Project Company.

Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors for project materials.

Site Administration: Manage site resources effectively.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Degree: Graduate in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 13 years of experience, with at least 3 years in Solar PV projects of 200 MW and above. Overseas experience is desirable.
