Metallurgical and Technical Engineering Support  The Senior Welding Engineer will provide advanced metallurgical and welding engineering support to multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring all welding activities meet contractual obligations, international standards, and evolving technological requirements within complex oil and gas projects.

Welding Procedure Development and Qualification  This role is responsible for qualifying welding procedures through procedure qualification records, preparing detailed welding procedure specifications, and developing comprehensive weld plans in strict accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Inspection and Expediting Oversight The position involves performing detailed welding inspections and expediting activities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, skids, piping systems, structural components, and general fabrication to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and technical compliance.

Mechanical Testing and Material Verification  The Senior Welding Engineer will examine, witness, and validate mechanical and non-destructive tests required for material and procedure qualification, ensuring traceability, accuracy, and compliance with approved welding documentation.

Site Surveillance and Construction Monitoring  The role includes continuous surveillance during site construction, fabrication, and welding activities for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping systems to ensure proper execution, workmanship quality, and adherence to approved procedures.

Contractor and Subcontractor Quality Control  This position monitors and evaluates contractor and subcontractor welding activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and safety requirements while addressing non-conformances and corrective actions proactively.
