Position: Senior Water Engineer

Role Overview:

The Senior Water Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing water treatment processes and chemical formulations. This role involves evaluating water treatment systems, conducting research, and providing technical expertise to ensure efficient and effective water treatment solutions. The candidate should possess a strong background in chemical engineering, focusing on water treatment technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Design and Optimization: Develop and improve water treatment processes, including chemical dosing, filtration, and disinfection methods, to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Chemical Formulation: Design and test chemical formulations for water treatment applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

System Evaluation: Conduct assessments of existing water treatment systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to increase reliability and performance.

Technical Analysis: Analyze water samples chemically and physically to determine treatment needs, ensuring water quality meets regulatory standards.

Project Management: Oversee water treatment projects from conception to implementation, including coordination with teams, budgeting, and scheduling.

Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in water treatment technologies and chemical engineering, incorporating new methods into existing processes.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all water treatment activities comply with environmental regulations and maintain detailed records of processes, test results, and system performance.

Technical Support: Provide technical support and training to plant operators, ensuring optimal operation of water treatment systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in water treatment and chemical formulation.

Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, chemical dosing, filtration, and disinfection.

Experience in project management and technical support.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
