Senior Student Placement Officer

Job Description

Shape Student Futures at City University Ajman: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Student Placement Officer to lead our Placement and Alumni Relations Office. This strategic position plays a crucial role in advancing graduate employability in line with the OBF framework and national higher education KPIs.

Build Employer Relationships: You’ll be responsible for developing strong and sustainable connections with employers across various sectors, identifying job and internship opportunities tailored to students' academic strengths and interests.

Coordinate Campus Recruitment: Plan and execute career fairs, on-campus recruitment drives, and internship programs that connect students directly with potential employers. You will also support companies during recruitment processes to ensure a seamless experience.

Track Alumni Success: Maintain an updated alumni database and regularly collect data on alumni employment outcomes. This data will feed into institutional reporting and strategy development while helping foster alumni-student networking opportunities.

Support Career Development: Conduct career counseling, CV writing sessions, and interview prep workshops for students. Guide them toward career paths aligned with their skills and market demand.

Collaborate With Academic Departments: Work closely with faculty and academic advisors to tailor placement initiatives based on student learning outcomes and degree relevance to market trends.
