Project Role Overview: The Senior SAS Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the complete pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases of a major power project in KSA. This position demands deep technical expertise in SAS systems, excellent planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple project interfaces to ensure successful handover to operations.

Commissioning Planning: You will create and manage a comprehensive commissioning plan and schedule, ensuring that all activities are properly sequenced, resourced, and aligned with the overall project timeline. This includes liaising with construction, engineering, and operations teams to confirm readiness at each stage.

Pre-Commissioning Execution: The role involves coordinating all pre-commissioning activities, including system checks, functional testing, and validation of SAS systems to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Detailed records and reports will be maintained to track progress.

On-site Coordination: You will work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly and to ensure that commissioning works are carried out safely, efficiently, and within scope. This includes conducting site inspections and quality checks.

Operational Handover: As part of your responsibilities, you will ensure smooth transition from commissioning to operations by preparing detailed handover documentation, training operational staff, and confirming system stability. Your input will be key to ensuring operational readiness.

Compliance & Safety: You will adhere strictly to project safety procedures, industry regulations, and company quality management systems. Identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategies will be an important part of your role.
