Job Description
Role Overview – Al Wazzan United is hiring a Senior Sales Designer for a full-time, on-site role based in Hawally, Kuwait. This position is ideal for experienced design and sales professionals with strong technical design expertise, client consultation capabilities, and the ability to combine creative design skills with sales acumen to drive revenue, deliver design solutions, and provide exceptional customer experiences within interior design, architectural products, or related retail environments.
Design Consultation and Client Engagement – You will provide design consultation and engage clients by conducting needs assessments, understanding project requirements and aesthetics preferences, analyzing spaces and dimensions, developing design concepts, creating mood boards and presentations, recommending products and solutions, and providing expert design guidance that meets client needs while driving sales.
Space Planning and Design Solutions – You will develop space planning and design solutions by measuring spaces, creating floor plans and layouts, designing functional and aesthetic solutions, optimizing space utilization, selecting appropriate products and finishes, creating 3D visualizations or renderings when applicable, and delivering comprehensive design proposals that showcase products and drive purchasing decisions.
Product Specification and Selection – You will specify and select products by understanding product features, technical specifications, and applications, matching products to design requirements, recommending materials, finishes, colors, and styles, coordinating product selections across projects, ensuring design cohesion, and guiding clients through product choices that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
Sales and Revenue Generation – You will drive sales and revenue generation by converting design consultations into sales, achieving individual sales targets, maximizing transaction values, upselling and cross-selling products, closing deals effectively, managing sales pipeline, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives while delivering exceptional design services.
Quotation Preparation and Pricing – You will prepare quotations and manage pricing by calculating project costs, preparing detailed quotations, presenting pricing to clients, negotiating pricing within approved parameters, explaining value propositions, managing discounts and margins, and ensuring competitive, profitable pricing that drives sales while maintaining margins.
Client Relationship Management – You will build and manage client relationships by maintaining regular communication with clients throughout design and sales processes, providing personalized service, managing client expectations, following up on leads and inquiries, nurturing long-term relationships, and building customer loyalty that drives repeat business and referrals.
Showroom and Product Knowledge – You will maintain comprehensive showroom and product knowledge by mastering product collections, understanding technical specifications, staying current with new products and trends, knowing inventory availability, demonstrating products effectively, and providing expert product guidance to clients and team members.
