Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control within the UAE construction industry, specifically in MEP projects. This role requires a strong understanding of MEP systems, regulations, and standards, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement QA/QC plans and procedures for MEP projects to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

2. Conduct inspections and tests of MEP systems and components to verify adherence to quality requirements.

3. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution.

4. Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to identify discrepancies and potential quality issues.

5. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved QA/QC plans and procedures.

6. Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of QA/QC processes and identify areas for improvement.

7. Prepare QA/QC reports and documentation for submission to clients and regulatory authorities.

8. Provide training and guidance to project team members on QA/QC requirements and best practices.

9. Participate in project meetings, inspections, and audits as required.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to MEP QA/QC.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.

2. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the UAE MEP Construction Industry.

3. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, standards, and regulations.

4. Proven experience in developing and implementing QA/QC plans and procedures.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and mentor team members.

9. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

10. Proficiency in MS Office applications and QA/QC software/tools.
