Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex banking and card migration projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with exceptional project management skills to drive successful project delivery in a dynamic banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

Lead and manage multiple business projects simultaneously

Coordinate across IT, business, operations, and vendor teams

Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high quality standards

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets

Identify and manage project risks and issues

Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Lead project steering committee meetings and status updates

Manage vendor relationships and deliverables

Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration

Navigate complex organizational dynamics

Technical Oversight

Provide technical guidance and direction to project teams

Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements

Oversee system integration and migration activities

Review and approve technical deliverables

Guide architecture and design decisions

Process Management

Implement project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid)

Establish project governance frameworks

Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and budget

Develop and maintain project documentation

Track and report project metrics and KPIs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

10+ years of overall IT experience

Minimum 5 years experience in Banking sector/Cards Vertical

Strong understanding of banking systems and card processing

Expertise in Microsoft Project (MPP)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proven stakeholder management abilities

Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

PMP Certification or equivalent

Experience with core banking system migrations

Knowledge of payment card industry standards

Agile certification (Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager)

Experience in Middle East banking sector

Additional relevant certifications in IT or Banking
