Job Description / Role:

BuildWell HR Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Senior Production Engineer for one of our well-established clients in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Workshop, ensuring efficiency and productivity in line with company goals.

Main Responsibilities:

Workshop Management: Oversee all aspects of Workshop operations to ensure smooth day-to-day running.

Production Scheduling: Prepare a master production schedule for one month, submit it to the Operations Manager/Client, and develop catch-up plans as required.

Reporting: Compile and submit weekly production progress reports to the Operations Manager.

Forecasting: Develop a minimum 3-month look-ahead schedule for manpower supply mobilization & demobilization and report to the Operations Manager.

Critical Path Management: Identify critical paths well in advance, inform the Operations Manager, and take necessary actions.

Document Control: Ensure the latest drawings and documents are used in execution.

Preventive Maintenance: Ensure proper preventive maintenance is implemented and achieved according to the schedule.

ABC Analysis: Implement and execute ABC analysis to optimize operations.

Requirements:

Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the fabrication of pressure vessels, piping (CS, SS, Duplex), tanks, structural steelwork, skid packages, and FAT, particularly in Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturing.

Skills: Strong leadership, scheduling, and reporting skills.

Salary:

AED 9,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
