Role Overview The Senior Procurement Officer will play a key role in supporting facilities management operations by ensuring efficient sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination across the organization. This role requires a highly organized professional with strong knowledge of the UAE market who can manage procurement activities while maintaining cost efficiency and service quality.
Procurement Operations The position involves managing end-to-end procurement processes including material sourcing, purchase requisitions, supplier evaluations, and order fulfillment. The Senior Procurement Officer will ensure timely availability of materials and services required to support facilities management operations.
Vendor Management The role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with local vendors and suppliers. The Senior Procurement Officer will negotiate pricing, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure procurement decisions align with quality standards, operational needs, and budgetary controls.
Market and Material Knowledge The position demands strong understanding of facilities management materials, equipment, and service requirements within the UAE market. Systems and SAP Utilization Proficiency in SAP is essential for managing procurement transactions, tracking orders, and maintaining accurate records. The Senior Procurement Officer will ensure data accuracy within the system while supporting reporting and procurement analysis requirements.
Operational Collaboration The role involves close coordination with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project and maintenance requirements.
