Hire Hub International HR Consultancy, an Abu Dhabi-based recruitment firm specialising in Oil & Gas and EPC projects since 2015, is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a reputed Oil & Gas / EPC project in Abu Dhabi. This is a role for someone who understands that planning is not about predicting the future. It is about preparing for it.

This is a senior role for an engineer with at least fifteen years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining baseline schedules, monitoring progress, performing critical path analysis, and preparing look-ahead schedules and recovery plans. You will coordinate closely with construction, engineering, and project teams to ensure that schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives. You will also track progress against milestones, identify risks and delays, and recommend corrective actions. Your ability to see the bigger picture while managing the smallest details will be what keeps the project on track.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, which is mandatory for this role. You have extensive site-based planning and scheduling experience, with advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. You understand baseline schedules, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, and look-ahead planning. You are a strong communicator who can coordinate across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups. Experience in the UAE or wider GCC region will be an advantage.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The salary range is AED 15,000 to AED 22,000 per month.
