Job Description

Fletcher Piccolo Associates (FPA), a leading Fit Out Contractor in Dubai, UAE, is actively seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and planning multiple fit out projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, and hospitality. This position involves leading 2-3 fit out projects and reporting directly to the Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

Develop and coordinate project timelines and schedules to ensure timely completion.

Oversee and manage the budget for each project, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

Collaboration:

Work closely with design teams to ensure plans meet client requirements and specifications.

Procure necessary materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery for project execution.

Subcontractor Management:

Manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with project plans and timelines.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of work.

Issue Resolution:

Address any issues or delays that arise during the project execution, implementing solutions to maintain progress.

Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols on-site.

Client Communication:

Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

Document project progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records for future reference.

Requirements:

Education:

A relevant industry degree is required.

Experience:

Extensive experience in fit out construction projects, preferably within the UAE or Middle East region.

Skills:

Strong understanding of construction planning methodologies and techniques.

Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.

Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of motivating teams and managing stakeholders to ensure project success.
