Job Title: Senior Painter Specialized in Steel Structure

Job Descriptions:

We are seeking a Senior Painter with specialization in steel structure painting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on steel structures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.

Select and mix paints, varnishes, and coatings to achieve desired colors and finishes.

Apply paint and other coatings to steel structures using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.

Ensure even application and coverage of paint, paying close attention to detail.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools after each use.

Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs.

Coordinate with other members of the construction team to schedule painting activities and minimize disruptions to workflow.

Keep accurate records of materials used and work performed.

Train and mentor junior painters as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a painter, with specialization in painting steel structures.

Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Certification or training in painting or related field is a plus.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
