Position Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Officer to join our dynamic banking team in Abu Dhabi. This role is designed for a professional with strong operational knowledge in retail loans, funds transfer, and loan restructuring processes. Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry is required, with at least four years in a similar capacity involving progressively increasing responsibilities in retail loans operations. A strong foundation in funds transfers, loan restructuring, and remittance processing is essential.

Key Responsibilities in Loan Processing

The Senior Officer will be responsible for the validation and processing of new loans received via CAS. This includes creating manual bookings in T24, ensuring authorization as per the Delegation of Authority (DOA), and executing all necessary post-disbursement procedures. This role demands high accuracy and full compliance with banking policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

Operational Execution and Compliance

The position requires efficient and error-free execution of loan processing transactions. Responsibilities include diarizing follow-up actions for second-day activities, obtaining valid signatures on Master Contracts (MCs) based on DOA, and sending remittance instructions to the Payment Centre when necessary. End-of-Day (EOD) checks for unauthorized transactions and printing of vouchers are also part of daily duties.

Documentation and Reporting

You will be accountable for scanning and archiving loan documents, and ensuring that all disbursal memos are forwarded for proper sign-off in line with the Loan Ops DOA matrix. Additionally, you will generate periodic reports and management information critical to business insights and strategic decisions.

System Interaction and Process Support

The ideal candidate will be proficient in core banking systems like T24 and demonstrate the ability to manage and reconcile transaction data. You will also play an integral part in validating data entries, managing blocks, deferrals, and PD recovery processes, ensuring that all operational elements align with service-level agreements (SLAs) and control mechanisms.

Team Participation and UAT Involvement

In addition to core responsibilities, the Senior Officer will actively participate in various departmental initiatives and contribute to internal process improvements. You will also be involved in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, helping the team validate new system implementations and updates for optimal performance.
