Job Description

Strategic Marketing Leadership: The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies for high-profile conferences and exhibitions. This role requires an in-depth understanding of market trends, audience targeting, and event positioning to ensure maximum engagement and return on investment. You will lead the vision for marketing campaigns that align with both the brand’s image and commercial objectives, ensuring that events are consistently recognized as industry-leading experiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with multiple departments, including commercial, sponsorship, creative, and operations teams, to ensure a unified approach to marketing. Your leadership will facilitate seamless communication, effective project management, and alignment between marketing goals and broader organizational strategies. Success in this area depends on your ability to bring together different perspectives to achieve common business objectives.

Digital Marketing Execution: A major focus of the role will be managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as social media, email, SEO, and paid media. You will be expected to design and execute campaigns that not only increase brand visibility but also drive measurable lead generation and customer acquisition. The role demands creativity, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to stay ahead of digital marketing trends.

Performance Tracking & Budget Management: You will monitor the effectiveness of all marketing activities through analytics and key performance indicators, making informed adjustments to maximize results. In addition, you will manage marketing budgets, ensuring every initiative is cost-effective and delivers strong value. This includes preparing reports for senior management on ROI, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement.

Content & Partnership Development: Your responsibilities will include overseeing content creation for campaigns, liaising with media partners, and crafting compelling copy for event promotion. You will identify and leverage media partnerships and sponsorships that enhance event visibility and provide measurable benefits. This involves understanding audience needs, brand voice, and the dynamics of event marketing.

Event Promotion & Brand Positioning: You will ensure that each conference and exhibition has a strong market presence before, during, and after the event. By strategically timing campaigns, optimizing digital touchpoints, and engaging in innovative outreach activities, you will strengthen the brand’s reputation as a thought leader in its industry sector.
