Reliance Recruiters, a Dubai-based recruitment agency established in 2002 and specializing in engineering and manufacturing talent acquisition, is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a leading cable manufacturing company in the UAE. This is a full-time, on-site role offering an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in LV, MV, and HV cable design to contribute to a prestigious organization serving major utility and infrastructure projects across the Gulf region.

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing LV, MV, and HV cable solutions that meet the rigorous demands of the Gulf's utility and infrastructure sectors. You will play a critical role in supporting technical teams, responding to complex customer enquiries, and ensuring all designs comply with international standards and stringent quality requirements. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will also be expected to lead and mentor a team of design engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact major projects for clients such as DEWA, SEWA, TAQA, EtihadWE, RTA, and ADNOC.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and have accumulated a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in cable design, with strong preference given to candidates with direct experience within the GCC cable manufacturing industry. Your technical expertise must include extensive experience in designing LV, MV, and HV cables, with HV cable design experience being non-negotiable. You will have a proven track record of working with Gulf utility specifications, be highly proficient in industry-standard software including CYMCAP, ADVARIS, and SAP ERP, and possess deep knowledge of international standards such as IEC, ICEA, AEIC, IEEE, UL, BS EN, VDE, and ASTM. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional leadership skills, and excellent communication capabilities to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the UAE, offering a competitive all-inclusive monthly salary of AED 10,000–12,000, commensurate with experience.
