In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture and database solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational standards, governance frameworks, and security requirements. You will develop and maintain data models, data warehousing solutions, and information management frameworks, while conducting threat and risk assessments and presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Your work will span data integration, data quality management, and the development of business intelligence and performance management solutions. You will also be expected to produce comprehensive enterprise solution documentation and architecture artefacts, and to provide technical advisory and leadership to stakeholders across the organisation.

The ideal candidate holds a college or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline and brings extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale databases and data platforms. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance is essential, as is experience with Transact-SQL development and optimisation. Familiarity with cloud-based and big data environments is highly valued, and experience with architecture modelling tools such as PowerDesigner, ER/Studio, ERwin, or Rational Rose will be a strong advantage. TOGAF certification is preferred, as is experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Cognos BI, or MicroStrategy, and exposure to agile application development projects. Valid Canadian work authorisation is required, and all work must be performed within Canada.
