Job Description
Role Overview: As a Senior Cost Control Engineer in Civil, you will oversee cost planning and monitoring across major construction contracts, ensuring budgets are met and financial risks are mitigated.
Budget Forecasting: You'll prepare, monitor, and analyze monthly cost forecasts and contractor claims, updating upper management on deviations and corrective actions.
Reporting & Analysis: Generating accurate cost reports and conducting variance analyses will be key to identifying areas for improvement.
Contract Evaluation: You'll review contractual documents, manage variations, and evaluate contractor/invoice claims to ensure accuracy.
Team Leadership: You’ll mentor junior cost engineers, providing guidance on cost control best practices and reviewing their outputs.
Collaboration: Close coordination with project managers, procurement, and finance will ensure financial parameters align with project objectives.
