Job Summary:

Fletcher Piccolo Associates (FPA) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing all aspects of contracts and commercial activities for construction projects. The successful candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Manage and administer all contractual and commercial aspects of construction projects.

Identify and mitigate contractual risks and disputes.

Prepare and maintain accurate project cost reports and forecasts.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective contract administration and compliance.

Provide guidance and support to project managers and stakeholders on contractual matters.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Contracts Engineer in the construction industry.

In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC and other standard forms of contracts.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to analyze complex contractual issues and provide practical solutions.

Excellent understanding of commercial and financial principles.

Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Certification in contract management or professional accreditation is a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Salary:

AED 15,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances
