Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Senior Contract Engineer (Arabic Speaking) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract engineering within the Oil & Gas industry, with fluency in Arabic. This role involves managing contract activities, evaluating bids, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

Lead the contract engineering function, including bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and administration.

Review and analyze tender documents, contracts, and proposals to identify risks and opportunities.

Develop contract strategies and plans to achieve project objectives and mitigate risks.

Evaluate contractor bids and proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Negotiate contract terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Prepare and issue contract documents, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.

Monitor contractor performance and adherence to contractual requirements.

Coordinate with project teams to address contract-related issues and resolve disputes.

Maintain accurate records of contract documentation, correspondence, and changes.

Provide guidance and support to junior contract engineers and project teams as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 10-20 years of experience in contract engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.

Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, with proficiency in English.

Strong knowledge of contract laws, regulations, and best practices.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze complex contract documents and identify key terms and conditions.

Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office applications.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Experience in leading contract engineering teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
