Job Description:

China Railway International Group Co. Ltd (CRIG) is currently seeking a qualified Senior Construction Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in railway, train, or metro construction as the main contractor. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to support the Construction Manager in managing and coordinating construction activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the Construction Manager in overseeing all aspects of railway, train, or metro construction projects.

2. Assist in developing and implementing construction plans, schedules, and strategies to meet project objectives.

3. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure project requirements are met.

4. Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

5. Review construction drawings, plans, and specifications to identify engineering requirements and resolve technical issues.

6. Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams to ensure work is executed according to design and quality standards.

7. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

8. Prepare and maintain construction documentation, including progress reports, quality records, and as-built drawings.

9. Collaborate with project management teams to address construction-related issues and implement effective solutions.

10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on construction sites.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in railway, train, or metro construction as the main contractor.

2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

3. Capable of supporting the Construction Manager in managing construction activities.

4. Strong technical expertise in civil engineering and construction management.

5. Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.

7. Must be available in the UAE.

8. Fluency in English, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.
