Job Description:

Blake Anderson's client, a leading architectural practice in Dubai known for creating innovative hospitality experiences, is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Concept Architect. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop groundbreaking concept designs for a variety of hospitality projects, including luxury hotels, resorts, and boutique experiences.

About the Role:

As a Senior Concept Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the initial vision for exciting hospitality projects. You will work closely with senior architects, project managers, and clients to develop creative and original concept designs that reflect the unique character and brand identity of each project.

Responsibilities:

Concept Development:

Develop creative and original concept designs tailored to the unique character, target audience, and brand identity of each hospitality project.

Create high-quality presentation materials, including sketches, 3D models, and mood boards, that effectively communicate the design narrative and functionality of hospitality spaces.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Collaborate with senior architects and engineers to ensure designs are feasible, meet all technical requirements, and optimize guest flow.

Participate in client meetings to present and refine design concepts based on feedback, ensuring alignment with project goals and brand vision.

Technical Proficiency and Innovation:

Stay up-to-date on the latest architectural software and technologies relevant to hospitality design (e.g., Revit, Enscape).

Assist in the preparation of planning applications and other project documentation for hospitality projects.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of experience working on architectural projects, with a strong focus on hospitality design (a must).

Proven track record of developing creative and technically sound concept designs that enhance guest experiences.

Skills and Knowledge:

Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, sustainable design practices, and their application within the hospitality sector.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications:

Experience working in the Dubai design industry is a plus.
