Job Description:

Bitech International LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing Qlik Sense and Power BI applications, with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of ETL processes and SQL.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Qlik Sense Development and Management:

Develop and manage Qlik Sense applications and dashboards.

Ensure the accuracy and performance of Qlik Sense reports.

Implement best practices in Qlik Sense application development.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Qlik Sense applications.

Power BI Development and Management:

Design, develop, and manage Power BI reports and dashboards.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy in Power BI reports.

Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability.

Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and incorporate them into solutions.

ETL Processes:

Design and implement efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Ensure data is accurately extracted from various sources, transformed as needed, and loaded into the data warehouse.

Monitor ETL jobs for performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Maintain documentation for ETL processes.

Data Analysis:

Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Interpret complex data sets and provide actionable recommendations.

Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and deliver appropriate solutions.

Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure the reliability of reports and analyses.

SQL Development:

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.

Ensure that SQL queries are efficient and perform well.

Develop complex SQL scripts for data analysis and reporting.

Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database performance.

Communication and Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data scientists, and IT.

Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.

Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to project planning and discussions.

Problem-solving:

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proactively identify and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and user requirements.

Continuously seek ways to improve processes and solutions.

Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into work.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Proven experience in business intelligence and data visualization.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with data governance and best practices in BI.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.

Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and R.

Experience with cloud-based BI solutions.

Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
