Job Overview: The Senior Associate – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounts payable operations while ensuring that invoices are accurately processed and payments are completed on time. This role requires an eye for detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy healthcare organization.
Accounts Payable Management: A core responsibility will be handling vendor invoices, verifying expense claims, reconciling accounts, and coordinating payment runs. Ensuring timely and accurate processing will be essential for maintaining positive supplier relationships and supporting the hospital’s smooth operations.
Financial Controls & Reporting: The role also requires maintaining strong internal controls, preparing financial statements, assisting with month-end closings, and contributing to audits. You will play a key role in supporting the finance team by generating accurate reports for management to facilitate decision-making.
Vendor & Stakeholder Relations: This position involves regular communication with vendors, resolving payment discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with contracts. Internally, you will collaborate with different departments to verify budgets, approve expenditures, and streamline financial processes.
Compliance & Policy Adherence: The Senior Associate will ensure all financial operations comply with local regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. This includes supporting risk management initiatives, adhering to corporate governance, and ensuring complete documentation.
Skills & Competencies: Success in this role depends on strong accounting knowledge, proficiency with ERP systems, and the ability to work under pressure. A detail-oriented and results-driven professional, you must be comfortable balancing multiple tasks while delivering high-quality outcomes.
