Job Overview: ASGC Group is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountants to join our finance department in Dubai. We are looking for professionals with strong financial acumen, a solid grasp of accounting principles, and the ability to take initiative in dynamic environments.

Core Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of your assigned division. Your duties will include managing accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, preparing monthly financial statements, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards.

Financial Analysis: You will perform in-depth financial analysis to track performance, identify variances, and support senior management in strategic decision-making. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning is essential. Accuracy, data integrity, and insights are critical deliverables of this role.

Regulatory Compliance: A key part of this role involves ensuring adherence to local accounting laws, VAT regulations, and international financial reporting standards (IFRS). You must be familiar with relevant legislation and be capable of coordinating with auditors and tax authorities when required.

Team Collaboration: You’ll work closely with other accountants, project teams, procurement, and operations to ensure seamless financial processes. Your ability to collaborate, mentor junior staff, and communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders will be highly valued in this role.

Tools & Systems: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is required, along with proficiency in Excel. You should be comfortable preparing complex reports, reconciling accounts, and managing financial systems on a daily basis.
