Propelum is recruiting on behalf of an established Australian-owned technology business with operations across Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines for a Senior Accountant to lead accounting, payroll, taxation, compliance, and administration functions across multiple entities. This is a primarily remote, full-time, long-term opportunity for a commercially minded accounting professional who brings both technical depth and the maturity to work autonomously within an international team environment. In this role, you will manage end-to-end accounting operations and prepare management accounts and financial reports that give leadership a clear and accurate picture of business performance across entities. You will oversee payroll, taxation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to Philippine statutory requirements as well as the obligations of an internationally operating business. Leading annual audits and liaising with external stakeholders will also form a core part of your responsibilities, as will driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and contributing to a more efficient and well-governed finance function overall. You will collaborate closely with international colleagues while maintaining the independence and judgement required to manage your remit with confidence.

The ideal candidate brings solid experience in senior accounting roles, ideally with exposure to Australian or other international business environments and multi-entity accounting structures. Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, payroll, and statutory requirements is essential. Proficiency in Xero accounting software is highly regarded, and experience with SweldoNow payroll software will be viewed as a strong advantage. You are organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously within agreed timelines and standards, with the communication skills to engage effectively across international teams.

This role offers a primarily remote work arrangement requiring only one day of office attendance per month, along with meaningful exposure to international and multi-entity operations, genuine influence over financial processes, and long-term career stability within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
