M.A.H.Y Khoory & Co. is a prominent name in the construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects and services across the UAE. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

VAT Filing: Handle VAT filings and ensure timely submission in accordance with UAE tax laws.

OEM Accounts Management: Manage Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) accounts, including reconciliation and reporting.

Accounts Receivables & Payables: Oversee accounts receivables and payables, ensuring timely collection and payment processes.

Month-End and Year-End Closing: Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and financial analysis.

Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and financial goals.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting roles, specifically in the automotive industry within the UAE.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certifications: Having a CA, CMA, or ACCA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry and its financial practices in the UAE.
