Senior Accountant

Job Description

Role Overview – Milaya Capital LTD is hiring a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for accomplished accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, capital and investment industry knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting functions effectively, maintain financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, support financial reporting, provide accounting guidance, support investment operations, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic capital and investment management organization.

Financial Transaction Recording – You will oversee financial transaction recording by ensuring accuracy, implementing procedures, monitoring quality, and maintaining standards. You will ensure accurate transaction processing and comprehensive financial records. You should maintain transaction recording proficiency.

General Ledger Management – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by overseeing recording, ensuring accuracy, conducting reconciliations, and verifying balances. You will ensure the general ledger serves as accurate accounting foundation. You should manage general ledger effectively.

Accounts Receivable Management – You will manage accounts receivable operations by overseeing AR procedures, monitoring collections, managing client accounts, and optimizing performance. You will lead AR management and optimize receivables. You should manage AR operations strategically.

Investment Income and Fee Recording – You will record investment income and fees by managing procedures, ensuring accuracy, categorizing transactions, and supporting analysis. You will accurately document capital investment returns and fee income. You should manage investment income accounting.

Investor Distribution Accounting – You will manage investor distributions by recording payments, tracking disbursements, maintaining records, and supporting accuracy. You will account for investor returns and distributions. You should manage distribution accounting.

Accounts Payable Oversight – You will oversee accounts payable by managing payment procedures, coordinating vendor payments, monitoring expenses, and supporting controls. You will optimize payment processes and manage vendor relationships. You should manage AP operations effectively.

Bank Reconciliation Oversight – You will oversee bank reconciliation by managing procedures, ensuring accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues. You will ensure accurate bank reconciliations. You should manage reconciliation processes.
