Role Overview – Z Line Logistics Company is hiring a Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for accomplished accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, logistics and transportation industry knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting operations effectively, lead junior staff, oversee financial controls, ensure compliance, support management decisions, and contribute to organizational success within a dynamic logistics organization.

Accounting Operations Leadership – You will lead accounting operations by directing activities, managing processes, setting standards, and driving efficiency. You will oversee comprehensive accounting supporting organizational objectives. You should lead accounting operations strategically and professionally.

Senior Accounting Team Support – You will support accounting team by mentoring staff, providing guidance, supervising work, and fostering development. You will help develop junior accountants and support team capability. You should provide senior-level accounting support.

Financial Statement Oversight – You will oversee financial statement preparation by coordinating compilation, ensuring accuracy, reviewing for compliance, and supporting delivery. You will ensure accurate, compliant financial statements. You should oversee financial reporting processes.

General Ledger Management – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, ensuring accurate classification, reconciling accounts, and verifying balances. You will review postings, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accuracy. You should maintain accurate general ledger records.

Accounts Receivable Management – You will manage accounts receivable by overseeing AR operations, monitoring collections, managing client accounts, and supporting cash flow. You will optimize receivables and support revenue collection. You should manage AR operations effectively.

Bank Reconciliation Oversight – You will oversee bank reconciliation by managing procedures, ensuring accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining records. You will ensure accurate bank reconciliations. You should manage reconciliation procedures.

Cash Flow Management – You will manage cash flow by analyzing position, forecasting requirements, optimizing timing, and supporting working capital. You will ensure adequate liquidity supporting operations. You should manage cash flow effectively.
