Role Overview – Yusuf Bhai is hiring an Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This position is ideal for experienced accounting professionals with strong financial expertise, retail and fragrance industry knowledge, and the ability to manage accounting operations effectively, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain financial accuracy, process retail transactions, and support organizational financial management within a dynamic fragrance retail and distribution business environment.

General Ledger Management and Control – You will manage and maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions, ensuring accurate account classification, and overseeing monthly reconciliation processes. You will verify transaction postings, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the general ledger balances with supporting documentation. You will maintain accurate records for fragrance sales and retail operations.

Accounts Receivable Management – You will manage accounts receivable by processing customer invoices, recording payments, and maintaining customer account records. You will follow up on outstanding invoices, prepare aging reports, and implement collection strategies. You will maintain accurate receivable records for wholesale customers, retailers, and corporate clients.

Accounts Payable Oversight – You will oversee accounts payable operations by processing supplier invoices, verifying accuracy against purchase orders, and managing payment schedules. You will maintain vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation and approval workflows. You will manage payments to fragrance suppliers and service providers.

Retail Sales Transaction Recording – You will record retail sales transactions by processing point-of-sale data, reconciling cash registers, and maintaining sales records. You will coordinate with retail staff regarding sales accuracy and manage retail revenue recording. You will understand fragrance product sales and retail operations.

Inventory Accounting and Valuation – You will assist with inventory accounting by recording purchases, tracking inventory movements, and maintaining inventory records. You will support inventory valuations, coordinate with warehouse regarding stock levels, and assist in inventory reconciliations. You will track fragrance product inventory and understand fragrance costing.
